World Wrestling Championships -  World Wrestling Championships -2019 in Nur-Sultan with its best-ever haul of 5 medals that included 1 silver and 4 bronze medals.

 Rahul Aware clinched a bronze in 61kg to help India finish with their best ever World Wrestling Championships campaign.

 Young wrestler Deepak Punia, 20-year-old Indian won silver medal in 86kg in his debut senior world championship.
